The Super Bowl is one of the highlights of the sporting calendar with millions gathering to watch the final head-to-head of the NFL season; whether that’s for the game itself, the half-time show or the eye-wateringly expensive commercials, there’s no judgment here!

For many Americans the Super Bowl is the ultimate party. With around a quarter attending a Super Bowl party and over one in six hosting one every year, onlinebetting.com has created the Ultimate Super Bowl Playlist.

With a list of more than 45,000 songs across 300 Spotify playlists, we’ve found the songs that top the list of Super Bowl Parties!

AC/DC’s anthem Thunderstruck topped the list, featuring in over two fifths of playlists researched. AD/DC were also the most popular artist with four more of their songs making the playlist.

Methodology

300 Spotify playlists with 46,869 songs were compiled using the keywords "NFL", "Tailgate party", "NFL Team + Tailgate". Then the number of times a song and an artist appeared were counted. In this way the rankings were made. A total of approximately 18,000 songs and 5,298 artists were counted. To determine which team has the best playlist, an average was made between the variables energy, danceability and popularity of the songs.
