The San Francisco 49ers’ fairy-tale run continues, as they travel to Los Angeles this week for the NFC Championship Game. They are on a three-game win streak on the road, and defeated the Rams at the SoFi Stadium just three weeks ago in the regular season. The home team scored a historical win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week in Florida, and will look to snap their current six-game losing streak against the 49ers this Sunday.

Deebo is a dangerous weapon

San Francisco had the biggest upset of the 2022 playoffs last week, as they managed to defeat the Green Bay Packers in freezing conditions at Lambeau Field. Jimmy Garoppolo completed 11 passes for 131 passing yards, in a matchup in which the 49ers mostly looked towards their run game in order to win. Elijah Mitchell ran 17 times for 53 rushing yards, and Deebo Samuel 10 times for 39 yards. The 49ers defense was once again the star of the show though. It will probably have to be huge once again this Sunday if they want to have a shot against the Rams. I’m looking at Deebo Samuel’s props as a point of attack for this game. He was huge for the 49ers in the final week of the regular season against the Rams, as he is a dangerous weapon both through the air, and on the ground. Backing him to go over his Rushing+Receiving Yards prop (at 97.5) is the pick here.

49ers to rinse and repeat on Stafford?

The Los Angeles Rams managed to get past the Arizona Cardinals and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to get to this stage, but they still have to get past a gritty 49ers team in order to make it to the Superbowl. They will face the best defense from the postseason this Sunday, so I expect this match to be rather low-scoring. Stafford looked great against the Cardinals and the Buccaneers, but he wasn’t pressed that much in these contests. San Francisco can only win this game if their defense gets to him, so expect Stafford to be put in a lot of tough spots here. He threw for 238 and 243 yards against the 49ers this season, and he has his passing prop set at 277.5 for this match. I will definitely play this to the under. The 49ers seemed to have the right formula to contain Stafford during the regular season this year, so I expect them to rinse and repeat that in the postseason here.

I will definitely have my money on a dual threat like Deebo Samuel to have a big match in this contest. I expect him to easily go over 100+ rushing+receiving yards, so taking the over at 97.5 seems to be a steal. I also believe Stafford’s numbers are inflated after two good playoff matches. The 49ers have a superior defense when compared to the Cardinals and the Buccaneers, so I don’t expect him to have another field day.
