How to sign up to BetMGM

It doesn’t matter if you’re signing up for a BetMGM account via the app or from their website, it's a simple process either way.

1. Start by visiting BetMGM.com or opening the app. From here click on the Register button in the top-right corner.

2. Next, you’ll be prompted to select your email address. (Note: trying to register in a state where BetMGM is not legalized or licensed will not work).

3. Enter your full name, your date of birth, and the last four digits of your SSN, then click Continue.

4. On the next page you’ll be prompted to enter the first line of your address, your mobile phone number and agree that you’re 21 years or older. You must confirm that you’re the only one allowed to use the account once created, and acknowledge that all your information is entered accurately and that you’ve read and agreed to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you have a bonus code, you’ll also be prompted to enter it on this page as well. The above is all confirmed by clicking Create My Account, leading you to the final step.

5. BetMGM will have to verify your identity through one of two ways. You can answer questions about your identity through public record documents, or upload photo ID. Once BetMGM has reviewed and confirmed your identity you will have access to the BetMGM account.

BetMGM is probably my favorite sportsbook to check first when I’m looking for promos and bonuses because of the array of choices that they offer.

• During the MLB season, there’s a MLB Parlay Boost Token which gets users 10% extra winnings on a minimum three-leg parlay. This can be used in pre-match or in-play with a maximum stake of $100.

• Speaking of MLB , BetMGM also offers a MLB One Game Parlay. Using this promo, if you place a $25 one game-parlay you’ll be rewarded with a $10 free bet.

• Refer a friend, earn a $50 bonus – If a friend signs up using your referral link, and meets the basic wagering requirement, you’ll both get $50 credited to your account.

• Parlay plus – earn up to 40% more on parlays placed by opting in and placing a four to seven-leg parlay of any combination of sports or events.

• Overtime Insurance for NFL – You get $25 in free bets returned if your moneyline or point spread NFL wager is graded a loser in overtime.

• Play-by-play specials that allow you to predict the outcome of a single drive or at-bat.

After you’ve signed up for an account, BetMGM will send notifications via email and through the app with free bet offers. Throughout different leagues’ seasons, BetMGM offers a $10 Free Bet. For example, during the NFL season, I placed a one-game parlay of at least $25 on Monday Night Football, and then received a free bet of $10.

• Live betting : This section is clear and very well laid out, with a large number of options available every day for live betting. As well as sporting events to bet on, there’s also plenty of different markets within those sports to explore. This includes all the markets that you would expect to see from a good sportsbook – run spread, totals, moneylines, game props, etc.

• Early cash out: This is an amazing feature typically offered by top sportsbooks. The cash-out option isn’t available for all markets, but it is a way for bettors to decide if they’d like to cash out at their current odds, at almost any time during a live event after a bet has been placed, even if your bet isn’t coming in.

BetMGM is simple to navigate. The app makes it easy to track bets, view your bet slip and find your favorite sports. It’s also a plus that promos, and built-in parlays, are on the home screen and that there’s also a simple search feature included at the bottom for quick access to any last-minute bets that you want place. BetMGM also offers a ton of different markets to bet on the app and through the website. There’s a variety of categories to bet, such as player props, parlays, spreads, totals, and so on. There’s also ‘One Game Parlay Bets’ that are pre-made, giving users the of choice of ready-made parlays should they like the look of them.

BetMGM deposits and withdrawals

Upon signing up there is a minimum $10 deposit. This deposit can be made via online banking, PayPal, a credit card, or other funding options. If your first bet loses, BetMGM will give you matching credits, although these must be used within seven days.

There’s also the Quick Deposit option once you’ve created an account, making it extremely simple to deposit funds into your account with your saved card information. It just requires you to enter the amount that you wish to deposit and CVV2 number on the back of your credit card.

BetMGM payout speed

BetMGM is one of the best sportsbooks for quick payouts. Typically funds are available within five days, but I’ve had payouts received as early as twelve hours after winning. You can also withdraw funds directly into your bank or PayPal account. BetMGM doesn’t take any fee for users withdrawing funds.

BetMGM app review

The BetMGM app is widely available to all bettors, being on both iOS and Android. Its facial recognition feature saves bettors time, avoiding the process of logging in using your email address and password – probably my favorite part of using the BetMGM app, overall.

Additionally, the app features a “Live” tab in the top-left corner. As soon as you log in, you have immediate access to every sporting event that can currently be wagered on in real time. These two features, in addition to the app having the day’s most popular games and promotions listed on the home screen, make using the BetMGM app an amazing experience.

Lastly, I love the interface and how user-friendly it is to place bets and find specific sports to wager using the A-Z menu search feature. I also really enjoy the fact that the website and the app are so similarly designed. This eliminates any confusion when you’re using the option that you’re less familiar with, whichever it may be.

BetMGM has pretty standard odds, powered by Entain’s software. They’re typically one of the first sportsbooks to have markets open and lines available. From my personal experience, BetMGM has some of the best odds early, so if you’re line shopping for competitive advantages, BetMGM is a great sportsbook to use in comparison to beat the juice offered on other books. They’ve also been known for having some of the most competitive odds on their live betting platform.

Does BetMGM have good odds?

In comparison to other top sportsbooks, BetMGM has very competitive odds. During the baseball season, if you’re line shopping through different sportsbooks, BetMGM will have some of the best odds available in most baseball markets, including totals, moneylines , player props and spreads.

There’s value in BetMGM’s odds across multiple sports – not just baseball – but a lot of the time I’ve been able to find value using their sportsbook to bet on point spreads in the NBA during the past season.

Furthermore, during the MLB season, BetMGM offers competitive game props like “Winning margin”, “Which team will score the first run?”, and “Will there be runs in the first inning?”, for example.

BetMGM determines what the maximum wager is per user in all sporting events. This includes all potential markets. Remember, winnings are considered taxable income and it’s a big reason your betting history is stored within their system.

BetMGM has 24/7 customer service but only via their FAQs. Complaints can be submitted via email (formalcomplaint.in@betMGM.com), but there isn’t currently any phone number to speak to someone. Response time to emails are typically 24 to 48 hours. There’s also a twitter account for support (@BetMGMSupport) but not having a number to actually talk with someone doesn’t entice customers when they’ve run into a problem and want to resolve something promptly.
